After many months of hard work, Animals Worldwide is delighted to announce that we now have ONLINE BANKING in place!
This is a major milestone for us — allowing for faster, more secure, and efficient funding of animal welfare projects both here in the UK and around the globe. No longer reliant on cheque payments, we can now process and distribute funds via BACS (bank transfer), enabling us to respond more quickly to urgent needs and streamline our operations.
📄 Updated Grant Process
With this change, we’ve also taken the opportunity to update our Grant Application Form. All applicants must now follow the new guidelines, which are designed to ensure that every penny donated is going directly to vital and verified animal welfare work.
We’re proud to maintain our strict standards, ensuring that funding reaches those who need it most.
🐾 Grants Awarded in 2025 So Far:
We’re pleased to share the following grants awarded so far this year:
- £250 to Diana Maricic in Bosnia – A passionate and tireless individual working to neuter, feed, and protect street cats, often completely on her own in extremely difficult conditions.
- £500 towards vital work in war-torn Ukraine – Supporting animals and rescuers in crisis situations, helping provide shelter, food, and veterinary care amid the ongoing conflict. (More details on this in the following update.)
- £250 to Voice Of Animals, Nepal – Assisting with their essential work to protect, rescue, and rehabilitate animals in an area where veterinary resources and funding are limited.
As always, Animals Worldwide remains committed to transparency, accountability, and compassion. Your donations are changing lives — not just for animals, but for the people who care for them in the most difficult and overlooked parts of the world.
We thank our supporters for their continued generosity and invite others to join us in making a difference.
