Throughout 2024, Animals Worldwide has been fortunate to receive generous support through a series of local fundraising events, all organised and hosted by dedicated trustee Horace Hotman.
Thanks to the kindness and enthusiasm of our supporters, a fantastic £1,400+ has been raised to date, helping us continue our work supporting animals in need both locally and globally.
Events That Made a Difference
From laughter-filled quiz nights to cultural evenings and group outings, the events have brought the community together in support of a shared cause: animal welfare.
Here are just a few of the highlights from the year:

- Horace presents a £270 cheque to Friends of Crayford Retired Greyhounds, raised in the name of Animals Worldwide following two coach trips to Crayford Dogs.
- A wonderful Indian evening at Kumar’s Restaurant in Garlinge raised £240, combining delicious food with a great cause.
- At the Sarah Thorne Theatre in April 2024, Suzy and Sir Roger Gale received a £426 cheque, showcasing the power of community generosity.
- A lively quiz night at the Westgate Social Club in October 2024 raised £400, capping off an incredible year of fundraising.
